Lysing Matrix F – 2 mL Bead Beating Tubes

Lysing Matrix F is designed for cell lysis during the isolation of intact organelles and supramolecular assemblies. Optimized for high cascade impaction and low shearing, it is useful for applications where other lysing matrices may be too aggressive.

Each white-capped 2 mL tube contains a processed mixture of aluminum oxide (Al₂O₃) and silicon carbide (SiC) crystals. These fractured, sharp-edged crystals average 1.6 mm in diameter.
