Lysing Matrix Z tube, 2 ml tube has red caps and contains 2.0 mm diameter yttria-stabilized zirconium oxide beads. It is effective for the lysis of the softer tissues of plants, stems, seeds, roots, animals and whole insects. This lysing matrix is a less aggressive alternative to the Lysing Matrix A, in application where the nucleic acid length is of greatest importance.
