Stainless Steel Lysing Tube, 2 mL, with Grinding Cylinder

Stainless steel tubes with cylindrical grinding hammer is ideal  for dry and wet grinding, homogenization and lysis of most difficult samples.  The advantage of using the cylindrical hammer  over lysing matrix medium is in cases of hard but brittle material where you want to maximize action of cascade impaction (i.e. hammering) vs lysing.

This lysing matrix tube is ideal for processing tooth, fossils, biomineralized hard shells, variety of geological samples, ceramics, glass and similar materials. It can be also used for processing of dry seeds and other toughest materials of plant origin, as well as forensics and archeological samples.
