Unlike traditional bead beaters, the MegaLyser’s rotational pathway forces beads and sample material to travel the entire vertical span of the tube. This full-length mixing dramatically enhances mechanical shear and increases the efficiency of material disruption. Internal high-speed imaging shows complete homogenization of plant material after just 10 seconds at 30 rev/sec.
