The Megalyser ™ brings a new level of performance to high-throughput sample preparation in 96 well plate and 2ml-50ml tubes formats. Traditional bead beaters rely on short-stroke agitation, which only disrupts material near the impact zone. The MegaLyser™ ’s HyperLysing motion produces a unique full-length travel path inside each tube, allowing grinding balls and lysing matrices to cycle from top to bottom on every revolution. This motion produces fast and uniform lysis even for tough plant, tissue, and microbial samples. Compatible with any download purification process for the best quality of DNA, RNA, Proteins, supramolecular assembles and small molecules .
With a rugged 45-lb chassis, powerful drive system, and closed feedback loop control adjusted system, the MegaLyser supports everything from delicate intact organelles preparations to aggressive mechanical disruption and library shearing, as per your settings. A configurable time range of 1 to 60 seconds offers precise control, and the instrument accepts a wide variety of common molecular biology formats, including 96-deep well plates, 2 mL tubes, 15 mL tubes, and 50 mL tubes. For most samples, genomic DNA sample preparation will only take about 10 seconds or less.
