Lysing Matrix B, 15 mL tubes are specialized lysing matrix tubes optimized for beat beating lysis of bacteria. Each impact-resistant 15 ml tube contains 0.1 mm silica spheres. It is effective for the isolation of total RNA and DNA from difficult to break gram positive and gram negative bacteria from cell cultures, swabs, filters and other samples. This lysing matrix is not to be used for the soil samples.
